Korelasi Ketrampilan Dengan Kinerja Dosen Sekolah-Sekolah Tinggi Theologia Di Kota Manado

Abstract: : Theology lecturers have a very important and strategic role in the theological learning process, more than just meeting the needs of teaching staff in Christian higher education institutions. Therefore, theology lecturers should develop their potential and competence optimally and progressively in terms of skills. This study is limited to skills in correlation with the performance of STT lecturers in Manado City. The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between Skills and the Performance of Lecturers of the Theological College in Manado City. The respondents consisted of 44 lecturers from the Theological College in Manado City. Questionnaires are instruments for collecting data. The statistical study used Pearson Product Moment manually. The results of Pearson's Product Moment Correlation calculation regarding the correlation between Skills and Lecturer Performance produced a positive correlation index number, but it was not strong as much as 0.63. This index number is then consulted on the critique price table from r Product Moment, where the price r in the critique table with the number of N = 44 and the 95% confidence degree is 0.297, then the rxy index calculates from the table value, namely: 0.63 0.297. While the same number of samples at the 99% confidence level of the table r value is 0.384, then the rxy index calculates from the table value, namely: 0.63 0.384, so it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H0) that there is no relationship between skills and lecturer performance is rejected, or in other words, that skills are positively related to lecturer performance. So that the acceptance of the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is that there is a relationship between skills and lecturer performance. This relationship is positive, namely that the higher the skill, the higher/stronger the lecturer's performance. Judging from the high and low relationship, where the rxy calculation result is 0.63 is in the range of 0.60 – 0.80 which means that the skills and performance of lecturers have a strong/high relationship. In other words, the contribution of skills to lecturer performance is 63.0%, the rest comes from the contribution of other factors or variables, by 37.0%. It is recommended that the performance of lecturers of theological schools in the city of Manado to improve skills as a competency that must be possessed and developed. Abstrak: Dosen teologi memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dan strategis dalam proses pembelajaran teologi, lebih dari sekedar memenuhi kebutuhan tenaga pengajar di lembaga pendidikan tinggi agama Kristen. Karena itu, dosen teologi hendaknya mengembangkan potensi dan kompetensi dirinya secara optimal dan progresif dalam hal ketrampilan. Kajian ini dibatasi pada ketrampilan dalam korelasinya dengan kinerja dosen STT di Kota Manado. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis korelasi Ketrampilan dengan Kinerja Dosen Sekolah Tinggi Theologia di Kota Manado. Responden terdiri dari 44 orang Dosen Sekolah Tinggi Theologia di Kota Manado. Kuesioner merupakan instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data. Kajian statistik menggunakan Pearson Product Moment secara manual. Hasil perhitungan Korelasi Product Moment Pearson mengenai korelasi antara Keterampilan dengan Kinerja Dosen menghasilkan angka indeks korelasi yang positif, namun kurang kuat sebesar, 0.63. Angka indeks ini kemudian dikonsultasikan pada table harga kritik dari r Product Moment, dimana harga r dalam table kritik dengan jumlah N = 44 serta derajat kepercayaan 95% adalah 0.297, maka indeks rxy hitung dari nilai table yaitu: 0.63 0.297. Sedangkan jumlah sampel yang sama pada derajat kepercayaan 99% nilai r table adalah 0.384, maka indeks rxy hitung dari nilai table yaitu: 0.63 0.384, sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa hipotesa nol (H0) yaitu tidak ada hubungan antara keterampilan dengan kinerja dosen ditolak, atau dengan kata lain, bahwa keterampilan berhubungan secara positif dengan kinerja dosen. Sehingga penerimaan Hipotesa Alternatif (Ha) yaitu terdapat hubungan antara keterampilan dengan kinerja dosen. Hubungan ini bersifat positif, yakni bahwa semakin tinggi keterampilan maka semakin tinggi/kuat pula kinerja dosen. Dilihat dari tinggi-rendahnya hubungan, dimana hasil rxy hitung adalah 0.63 berada dalam rentang 0.60 – 0.80 yang berarti antar keterampilan dan kinerja dosen mempunyai hubungan yang kuat/tinggi. Dengan kata lain, kontribusi keterampilan terhadap kinerja dosen adalah 63.0%, sisanya adalah berasal dari kontribusi dari faktor atau variable lain, sebesar 37.0%. dianjurkan agar kinerja dosen sekolah-sekolah theologia di kota Manado untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan sebagai kompetensi yang harus dimiliki dan dikembangkan.
