Abstract: Background.Congenital syphilis in untreated or inadequately treated pregnant women causes a variety of clinical manifestations, including miscarriage, neonatal death, cutaneous and visceral manifestations, or asymptomatic infection.We present a recent case of congenital syphilis with negative TPHA in the first trimester.
