Abstract: The essence of the investment attractiveness of industrial enterprises is determined by their ability to attract investment through a comprehensive assessment of economic, financial and market characteristics. The current study is aimed at defining the essence of understanding the investment attractiveness of an enterprise and forming its own definition on this basis. In the process of writing the study, various methods of scientific cognition were used, such as analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison and a systematic approach to study and identify existing approaches and definitions to the interpretation of the investment attractiveness of an enterprise. In the course of the study, the author has found that in the modern economic world there continues to be a growing interest in investment, which was confirmed by the growing dynamics of investment portfolios around the world. It is determined that this trend is evidence of the growing potential of investment markets and creates new prospects for the development of industrial enterprises.
