Abstract: The design is considered in the context of the formation and maintenance of a psychologically safe educational environment in the preparation of future journalists at the university. Based on the monitoring of the educational process of training journalists and media workers, the peculiarities of the influence of the design process as an educational activity of the student on the formation and development of creative abilities in the humanistic paradigm of education are revealed.
