Abstract: In recent years, modern developments in computer and cloud technologies have led to a significant increase in the quantity and speed of generated and stored information. This increase in the amount of information has introduced a new concept into our lives called "Big Data". Big Data offers significant advantages, especially for governments and businesses, in making informed decisions about their futures. However, the magnitude and diversity of this emerging data also bring about some challenges. Traditional database systems have been inadequate in processing these data formats, necessitating the need for new tools and techniques to overcome this challenge. Today, a wide range of techniques and technologies have been developed to collect, process, analyze, and visualize “Big Data”. These techniques and technologies encompass and draw upon various fields such as statistics, computer science, applied mathematics, and economics.
