Cyclophanes as Emerging Materials — From Synthesis To Functions (Adv. Funct. Mater. 47/2024)
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Cyclophanes as Emerging Materials 75 years ago, cyclophanes were discovered for the first time, showcasing their use as building blocks, e.g., for organic light emitting diodes (shown), solar cells, or precursors of soft materials (parylenes). In particular, the planar chirality of cyclophane can be favorably used for circularly polarized thermally activated delayed fluorescence.
