Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effects of the head and neck rotation at an angle of 30 and 45 degrees from the neutral on cerebral blood flow velocity change in internal carotid artery using transfontanelle Doppler ultrasonography and to find the association between cerebral blood flow velocity and intraoperative blood pressure in infants undergoing elective surgery. Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental study in infants aged 1-3 months undergoing general anesthesia for elective surgery in supine position.Transfontanelle ultrasonography was used to assess cerebral blood flow velocity when the head and neck are positioned at 0, 30 and 45 degrees.
