Abstract: A technological scheme for the industrial production of urea with controlled release of nutrients is proposed. The main elements of the scheme presented are the units for the urea melt production, granulation and encapsulation. Prototypes were obtained and examined, and the main indicators of product quality were analyzed. Solubility curves for encapsulated urea of different dispersities were plotted, confirming the expediency of using narrow fractions of granular fertilizer at the encapsulation stage and the need to introduce an additional classification stage into the technological scheme.
