Abstract: Steven-Johnson Syndrome (SJS)/ TEN (Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis) is a rare cutaneous adverse drug reaction and one of the most life-threatening dermatologic cases. It is characterized as rashes, blisters, and epidermolysis of the dermis and mucosa tissue, and it may also be followed by systemic symptoms. SJS/TEN presents a mortality rate of 9%. The most popular method for predicting fatality rates and assessing prognosis in individuals with SJS/TEN is the severity of sickness score for Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (SCORTEN) scale. In this case report, we present a case of a patient who presented with SJS/TEN following consumption of antibiotic medication.
