Abstract: This study aims to understand how artistic mediation and audience development initiatives contribute to educate artists, particularly undergraduate ones. We draw from our experience with extension projects that establish connections between undergraduate students and students in basic education to assess the impacts of the developed actions on participants’ education. Conceptually, we rely on the studies of mediation and audience development by Flávio Desgranges, Maria Lucia Pupo, and Ingrid Koudela.
