Abstract: In this paper, we obtain a complete characterization for the Hilbert-Schmidt double difference of composition operators on the weighted Bergman spaces over the half plane. Furthermore, we construct an 例 to show that there exists the cancelation phenomenon for the Hilbert-Schmidtness of the degenerate double difference of composition operators over the half plane.
