Abstract: Disinfection of antibiotic-resistant B. subtilis , damage of its intracellular antibiotic resistance gene (ARG), and prevention of horizontal ARG transfer were greater by 222 than 254 nm, despite similar extracted ARG damage between UV wavelengths.
