Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to discuss the current situation and countermeasures of music copyright protection in China. Firstly, this paper introduces the background of music copyright protection, and describes the purpose and significance of the study as well as the research methodology adopted. Secondly, this paper describes in detail the current situation of music copyright protection in China, including the system of copyright laws and regulations, practice cases, and existing problems and challenges. On this basis, the paper puts forward a series of targeted countermeasures, such as improving copyright laws and regulations, strengthening law enforcement, enhancing public awareness of copyright, and promoting synergistic development of the industry. In addition, the paper also analyzes the international experience and future development trend. Finally, this paper summarizes the importance of music copyright protection and puts forward targeted suggestions.
