Abstract: The article provides a review of the literature on the main groups of nanoscale systems – nanocarriers of medicinal substances. The use of nanoparticles to create safe and highly effective drugs in the field of cosmetology and pharmacology is considered. The features of the properties of drugs and nanocosmetics depending on the structural features of nanocomposites are indicated. Examples of possible toxicological actions of nanoparticles on the human body are given.
