Abstract: To analyze the ecological relationship between COVID-19 incidence in the total population and type 1 diabetes (T1D) incidence in children and adolescents, spatiotemporal models were applied considering time lags from 0 to 12 months. The results do not indicate a positive correlation between COVID-19 incidence and T1D incidence.
