Abstract: Selenium compounds have garnered significant attention in the field of medicinal chemistry due to their unique biochemical properties and potential therapeutic applications for different pathologies. In this study, we report the synthesis of a new selenylated bis-pyridone compound using SeO2 as the source of selenium. Detailed 1H and 13C NMR characterizations and mass spectral analysis are given.
