Abstract: The acoustic properties anisotropy of lanthanum gallosilicate crystals in the frequency range from 0.4 to 1.6 GHz was studied by the Bragg light diffraction method. As a result, real and imaginary elastic constants of these crystals were determined, which were used to construct the cross-section of the velocity and attenuation surfaces of acoustic waves by the (001) plane. Propagation special directions of acoustic waves in the (100) plane have been found. The established patterns of acoustic properties anisotropy expand the using possibilities these crystals in acoustic and acousto-optic devices.
