Abstract: The article traces the creative path of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Dambaev Bayarto Tsyrendorzhievich. His dramatic talent was re-vealed in the cinematographic works in the childhood, then perfected in train-ing and stage performances of the Buryat ballet. Today Dambaev Bayarto oc-cupies the position of the chief ballet master of the Buryat State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after G. Ts. Tsydynzhapov. Having dedicated his life to the art of ballet, he continues his activities to promote cultural herit-age and development of the Buryat ballet as a unique phenomenon of national culture.
