Distributed generation and demand response: a tandem for a sustainable energy of the future
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The article discusses the advantages of distributed generation and demand response as key technologies for distributed energy sector. The combination of these approaches is considered as an effective tool to optimize the use of resources, reduce costs, improve reliability and ensure flexibility of the power system, especially for remote areas. Examples of distributed energy implementation in the Murmansk region demonstrate the advantages of decentralized energy supply.
