Pioneirismo e excelência: a trajetória de Alexandre Figueiredo no controle externo

Abstract: This paper provides information and feedback about Alexandre Figueiredo performance as Counselor of the Court of Auditors of Ceará and Director-President of the Institute Escola Superior de Contas e Gestão Pública Ministro Plácido Castelo (IPC), over a time lapse of around 29 years, between 1995 and 2024, and shows by some votes given by the illustrious Counselor in the Plenum of the Court of Auditors, which became a valuable references for Ceará’s Public Administration, notably for external control. A brief report is also recorded about the biographical data and their participation in public life, as well the various teaching and improvement programs for public servants implemented at the IPC. Focusing on the search for the broad dissemination of the idea of citizen participation as an active member of the external control activities of the public account.
