Abstract: The article analyzes the current state and prospects for the development of digitization of administrative services in Ukraine, which is one of the key components of the process of creating a service state. The main goal of digitalization of public services is to provide citizens with high-quality services in an electronic format. Administrative electronic service is defined as one that uses information and communication technologies to provide administrative services in digital form. In the course of the study, the opinions of various legal scholars were studied and analyzed regarding the current level of integration of public services into the digital environment. Particular attention is paid to factors that emphasize the need to increase the level of digitalization of public services in Ukraine. Factors contributing to the transition of states to the provision of administrative services in a digital format are considered. It is emphasized that digitalization leads to the creation of a service state, the main goal of which is to protect the interests and satisfy the needs of citizens through the provision of quality services. Ukraine has chosen the course of digitalization of public services to improve the quality of services provided by the state and local self-government bodies, as well as to ensure their high accessibility for the population. The analysis showed that currently Ukrainians do not have the opportunity to fully realize their right to receive electronic administrative services due to a number of procedural shortcomings and gaps in legal regulation. However, Ukraine has all the prerequisites for creating an effective system of digitized administrative services. Therefore, the transition from the concept of «electronic government» to «digital government» is important for building a modern, effective and efficient management system. This transition means that technology will be used not only to support administrative processes, but also to achieve concrete results in national governance. The article examines the current state of legal regulation of digitalization of administrative services in Ukraine. Improving the quality of these services is possible with the help of Internet technologies. A systematic approach is a necessary condition for ensuring the effective functioning of the system of electronic administrative services in Ukraine.
