Basalt rocks of Karakalpakstan in the production of ceramics

Abstract: The article presents the results of experimental studies of basalts from the Berkurtau and Ushtau deposits of Karakalpakstan. As a result of the tests, it was established that samples of basalt rocks from the studied deposits can be used as the main raw material component for the production of ceramic materials, which helps to expand the raw material base for the production of ceramic materials for construction purposes.
