Abstract: Soilmixing techniques, among their many applications, serve to enhance soil load-bearing capacity, reduce settlements, and mitigate liquefaction effects. This research aims to establish numerical correlations between analytical formulations and axisymmetric and 2D numerical models to estimate soil improvement. Additionally, these calibrations will be presented in relation to three static load tests, where both numerical models and soil creep are evaluated. The findings will include the results of a soil improvement project at an existing hospital, employing the soilmixing technique for structural underpinning.
