Research on the Control of the Species Ambrosia Artemisiifolia in the Sunflower Culture in the North-west Area of Romania

Abstract: The primary objective of this research was to determine the most suitable herbicides, the most effective doses, and the optimal timing for the control of ragweed in sunflower crops. In 2024, an experiment was conducted at the Livada Agricultural Development Research Station, using the randomized block method with 10 variants in 3 repetitions, on an albic Luvisol soil with a pH of 5.1, a clay content of 20.9%, and a humus content of 1.8%.
