Case studies from universities that have successfully implemented such approaches are presented, demonstrating the benefits of combining ideological education with English instruction. The paper also addresses challenges faced by educators, such as the discomfort students may feel when discussing sensitive topics, and suggests strategies for overcoming these challenges. Finally, the paper discusses the implications for future research on the impact of ideological education on global citizenship and language acquisition.
