Abstract: This article aims to explore how international Chinese education students improve cross -cultural communication capabilities under the background of the “Belt and Road ” initiative. By analyzing problems in the current curriculum settings, teaching resources, and practical opportunities, we have proposed response strategies such as optimizing the curriculum system, enriching teaching resources, and strengthening the construction of teachers. Studies have shown that the cultivation of cross -cultural communication capabilities is of great significance to improve students comprehensive quality and meet the needs of globalization.
