Abstract: In this article, it will be discussed how the concept of science and demarcation was developed throughout the history of epistemological production, the focus will be mainly on the presentation of the concepts developed by Kuhn, Popper, Feyerabend, Demo and Haack. Such concepts will serve as subsidy for verifying the possibility of characterizing a concept of science and also the social impact that such reflections may favor.
