Abstract: The purpose of the research was to determine if there is a relationship between investigative skills and the development of digital and informational skills in normal school students from Sinaloa, within the framework of their training process. From a quantitative approach, a non-experimental, transectional and descriptive-correlational design was used; a questionnaire was applied as a data collection instrument to a sample of 154 students who were studying the eighth semester of the bachelor’s degree in Primary Education. The results are aimed at analyzing the categories of investigative, digital and informational competencies. Each of them is detailed and the skills acquired by the study subjects are emphasized, which were developed in accordance with the guidelines and demands of the teachers. The conclusions focus on areas of opportunity for further research. As it is an activity that is carried out superficially, students acquire few research skills, which invites us to reflect on the role of the teacher in the training of future teachers and the need to reformulate research work as an opportunity to contribute to the educational process of young people with disabilities. analytical and critical sense, who will be the next trainers of boys and girls.
