Abstract: The reflection of Thomas Aquinas on the earthly body of Jesus can be a resource, that is, it can be investigated and used by the philosophical thought that in recent decades has investigated the reality of the human body. In this essay, above all, we want to present the logic with which Thomas Aquinas has thought about the earthly body of Jesus, the logic, that is, the convenience of putting himself in the body of man and making it happen. At the same time, it is desired to prolong the reflection of it, evidencing some potentialities that have not yet been elaborated. At the end, in an appendix, some considerations are indicated that philosophical reason can extract and take advantage of as a valuable resource from Thomas' reflection on the body of Jesus.
