Abstract: The present study aims to examine the interplay between the dark triad of personality traits (Machiavellianism, Psychopathy, and Narcissism), death anxiety, and self-esteem. A cross-sectional study was conducted with 37 people aged 17 to 40 who were selected from a de-addiction center and asked to complete three forms: the Dark Triad Personality Scale (Jones &Paulhus, 2011), the Death Anxiety Scale (Templer, 1970), and the Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965). In order to investigate the interaction of factors, correlation and regression analyses were performed on the data gathered and analyzed using SPSS software. Based on the data collection and analysis, it was determined that there is no relationship between the variables, and so death anxiety and self-esteem have no meaningful relationship with those who exhibit any of the dark triads of personalities.
