Study of the Possibility of Feed Grain Treatment with Microwave Radiation Through Rectangular Waveguides with an Open End

Abstract: The article deals with the results of the study of the efficiency of feed grain treatment with microwaves (MW) using a rectangular waveguide. Computer modeling and experimental tests showed that this method of field supply is ineffective: the distribution of heating in the grain layer is uneven; the power of one magnetron is insufficient to achieve uniform heating of the grain up to 250 °C.
