Securing Solar for the Grid (S2G) Cybersecurity for Solar Systems Workshop at RE+: Fall 2024 IAB Meeting
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: SETO and DOE national laboratories are convening the fourth meeting of the Industry Advisory Board (IAB) and workshop for the Securing Solar for the Grid (S2G) program. The goal of S2G is to ensure energy system security and safety as more distributed energy resources (DERs) and inverter-based resources (IBRs) like solar are integrated onto the grid. In this workshop, researchers and industry counterparts will present the major research tasks within the S2G program including: DER Cybersecurity Standards and Certifications; DER Risk Assessments & Mitigation; DER Supply Chain Assessment; Network Monitoring Tools and Analysis; and Training and Workforce Development.
