Abstract: . The role of this paper is to demonstrate the use of design parameters control in CAD modelling. The case study consists of a 3D model able to be easily customized in multiple design variants to be tested or simulated thermally or mechanically. Such a design can be used from the beginning of the project if the designer can anticipate most of the problems/changes that could occur in the product. The scope of the case study is to see how much the design method helps and until which degree of design complexity/parameters control method complexity it worth that this design method to be used.
