Abstract: It is with great pleasure that we are coming out with an extra (5th) Issue of AJM this year. This is a Supplement, based on the proceedings of a conference held in Amrita Hospital last year. This was the 6th Amrita International Public Health Conference on “Advancing Public Health Strategies for Cancer Control”, held on 1st and 2nd December 2023. It was organized by the Departments of Community Medicine, Public Health, and Oncology, AIMS, Kochi, in association with iTMO University and Eurasian Federation of Oncology. This academic programme witnessed a fascinating, and very rewarding, confluence of two strands of Medicine that affect the community at large. Viz. Public Health and Oncology. I, on behalf of the Editorial Board, take the opportunity to thank the concerned departments, and various faculty members, who helped with contributions towards this Supplement.
