Abstract: The chemical compound benzene found in gasoline, additives and lubricating oils is classified by the National List of Human Carcinogens in group 1, that is, as one of the carcinogenic and toxic substances. Thus, the toxicity of the chemical agent is known and the types of diseases linked to it have been expanding. Workers at fuel stations and services are more susceptible to airborne and skin contamination, since all gasoline vapor contains considerable amounts of benzene. Using the hypothetical-deductive methodology, this project aims to prove that by reducing workers' daily exposure to benzene, with the implementation of new technologies, such as through vapor recovery and the use of pressure valves at gas stations, as well as by modifying the supply nozzle, causing an attempt to suppress the gas release, through protection wrapped in rubber material, recovering the vapor through holes in the supply pipe, will help your health, proposing a management model for the environment working environment of gas station attendants, to ensure safety and health protection is achieved, comparing with foreign laws/conventions and working hours, with their permitted limits, so that Brazil has precedents and can improve the quality of the working environment of these employees .
