Iterative Methods for Solving a Linear Matrix Equation

Abstract: In this paper we study iterative methods for solving a linear matrix equation. The considered type of equations appear when applying Newton’s method for nonlinear matrix equations. The convergence of the studied methods was investigated. Theoretical results are illustrated by numerical examples.
