Abstract: Machine vision is an area of artificial intelligence and computer science that deals with the acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of visual information from the environment. This article examines the history, basic principles and technologies, and applications of machine vision in various fields. Key concepts such as image capture, preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, and classification are covered. In addition, the paper discusses the use of deep neural networks in machine vision systems, such as CNNs, RNNs, and GANs, and their optimization. Applications of machine vision in medicine and manufacturing, commerce, and agriculture are reviewed, highlighting how these technologies are revolutionizing processes in these fields.
