Reporte de caso: Síndrome de Kartagener completo diagnosticado en la edad adulta

Abstract: We present the case of a 48-year-old patient with a clinical picture of recurrent upper airway infections of the chronic sinusitis type and acute otitis media, in addition to clinical diagnoses of pneumonia in childhood that required hospital admission for intravenous antibiotic therapy. In addition, the patient had tried to become pregnant several years ago without success. She consulted the pulmonologist for this condition, reaching a diagnosis of bilateral bronchiectasis, chronic sinusitis and situs inversus, diagnosis of complete Kartagener syndrome. The diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the disease are discussed.
