Abstract: The article analyzes the main indicators characterizing the Russian labor market in the context of economic sanctions. The features and problems of the labor market development in the Russian Federation are revealed. Measures are proposed to eliminate the considered problems in the context of the crisis state of the national economy. It is concluded that for the effective functioning of the labor market, it is necessary to carry out a set of measures aimed at the innovative development of economic sectors and the implementation of professional training and retraining of personnel, taking into account the growing demands of the market
