Abstract: Osteochondral defects in the knee can be managed in a variety of ways on the basis of location, size, and activity level. Current strategies to address these lesions produce variable long-term clinical outcomes and are associated with prolonged postoperative rehabilitation. In this Technical Note, we describe a reproducible, single-staged surgical technique for use of the OvertureTi Minimally Invasive Unicompartmental Articular Knee Resurfacing System. This system provides a viable alternative to biological surgical options or knee arthroplasty by selectively treating focal chondral lesions, while preserving healthy surrounding cartilage and meniscus.
