Abstract: Digital currencies are becoming an important element of the modern economy, contributing to significant changes in monetary and financial systems. The article examines various aspects of the implementation of digital currencies, including their impact on monetary policy, financial stability and international economic relations. The prospects and challenges associated with digital currencies, as well as the methods of legal regulation necessary for their successful integration into the economy, are analyzed. The relevance of the study is due to the global digitalization of the economy, the growing interest in digital currencies, their potential for improving financial systems and the need to develop effective legal regulation to ensure security and stability.
