Abstract: The impact of medical-scientific and technological advances on the legal field is undeniable. This research aims to propose the inclusion of Bioethics and Bioethical Law in the curriculum of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia. The methodology used was mixed and developed in three phases. Firstly, a bibliographic review was conducted to establish the relationship between Bioethics and Law. Subsequently, the importance of Bioethics was evidenced through factual situations. Finally, its relevance to the training of lawyers was demonstrated through the application of surveys. In conclusion, Bioethics and Law are interconnected and rooted in the transcendent aspects of the lives of living beings and ecosystems. Bioderecho, as a regulator of medical-scientific and technological practices and advances, prevents the violation of fundamental rights. Therefore, it is crucial to incorpórate Bioethics and Bioderecho into the education of future lawyers to enable them to analyze life decisions with ethical legal judgments.
