Why Is the Value Added Indicator Not Used to Assess the Efficiency of Agricultural Production?
Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Recently, opinions have been increasingly voiced that the import substitution company did not have an effect, did not lead to economic growth and did not allow domestic technologies equivalent to foreign ones to appear. Analyzing the state of food security, the question arises: why have we forgotten about value added as an indicator of the effective processing of agricultural raw materials produced. This problem is more significant than import substitution, and its solution is vital. You need to turn your grain into flour and sell it at significantly higher prices.
