Abstract: Scientific research and its dissemination in specialized journals are fundamental pillars for the advancement of knowledge and social development. This exploratory study examines the state of the art on the relevance of research and the dissemination of knowledge in scientific publications, focusing on the context of Mexican universities, particularly Technological Universities. The analysis ranges from the generation of knowledge to the challenges that researchers face in the publication process, highlighting the importance of scientific dissemination in today's society and its impact on the quality of life of the population.
