Abstract: The topic of this research paper seems to be quite relevant due to the constantly increasing role of lending to individuals as the main factor in the development of banking services in the Russian Federation. The developed system of lending to individuals is considered in the world as an essential and often uniquely significant economic force that determines the growth of the social and economic well-being of the country's population. The theoretical foundations of lending to individuals, features, classifications and development factors are determined. The features of the formation of the information base of the statistics of lending to individuals at the present stage are formulated.
