Abstract: The 7th ICoSA (International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture) 2024 is an international scientific forum organized annually by Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). This conference is designed to facilitate collaborative discussion among various stakeholders (both domestic and/or international) addressing major issues found in agricultural sectors, particularly in the implementation of sustainable agriculture. This conference also initiates a beneficial information sharing to support the improvement of agricultural practices. For this seventh year of implementation, 7th ICoSA 2024 brought the theme of “Green Smart Technology as A Gateway to Sustainable Agriculture”. This year’s conference was conducted in the form of online meeting on August 7-8, 2024 using Zoom Meeting. We recorded high interest from the participants coming from across Indonesia that presented their recent work in this conference. It was reflected by 72 submitted papers. Regarding its implementation, this conference provided two main activities, namely plenary talks and parallel discussion regarding various fields of studies related to agriculture. After performing highly selective scientific review on the submitted paper, we are delighted to present this proceeding as a paper compilation representing various field of studies, such as crop production system, crop protection, management of soil and land use, and postharvest management, integrated and precision agriculture, as well as agroclimate and environmental resources. We would like to express our gratitude to the organizing committees and supporting parties for their hard work and precious support, either during the conference and the post-conference publication, thus leading to a success of 7th ICoSA 2024. We sincerely hope that this conference can be considered as a scientific forum providing high quality discussion among researchers and other related stakeholders in agricultural sectors. We belief that the proceeding may serve as useful source of reference for further studies which will contribute significantly for the future development of agricultural sectors.
