Abstract: Colon cancer is a type of cancer that affects the large intestine and is one of the most common cancers in the world. It is caused by abnormal growth of cells that can spread to nearby organs and cause significant damage to the body and even death. The current study aims to measure the level of (Visfatin, adiponectin, Galectin-1, Granzymes B and CEA). There Were collected (75) blood samples from patients with colon cancer, and (15) blood samples from healthy individuals as a control group for both sexes; their ages ranged between (35-80) Age after being diagnosed by a specialist doctor in the city of medicine/ Teaching Oncology Hospital. The current study showed highly significant differences in the value of the variable of adipokines. The highest concentration of the Visfatin parameter was in the patient before the surgery at a value (of 25.985 ± 3.185) followed by the patient group after the surgery with a value of (18.330 ± 1.749), compared to the control group, which recorded the lowest value (16.591 ± 2.477). As for the adiponectin, there were significant differences between the patients and the control group, as its highest concentration was in the control group, reaching (10.396 ± 1.674), while in the patient group after the surgery, its value reached (8.982 ± 2.302) and the lowest value was in the patient before the surgery at value (8.317 ± 1.448). As for the Parameters (Galectin-1, Granzymes B and CEA) Significant differences were found, as its highest concentration was in the patient before the surgery, with a value of (2.1245 ± 0.513), (44.32 ± 13.59), (163.02 ± 12.901) respectively, while inpatient after the surgery it reached (1.037 ± 0.308), (28.76 ± 4.711), (7.050 ± 1.380) respectively, while the lowest concentration was in the control group by (0.6391 ± 0.267), (25.89 ± 7.090), (1.258 ± 0.355).
