Abstract: Minimum standard for violence prevention in emergency rooms The media reports on increasing violence against emergency room staff. Study results also confirm this alarming trend. The BGW has now reacted and published a minimum standard for the prevention of violence in emergency rooms on its website. In this article, we report on the required prevention measures and the background.
