Study design: Systematic Review
Abstract: This study scrutinises the interplay between physics education and renewable energy within current academic literature, adopting a systematic review to analyse texts spanning from 1998 to 2023. A pronounced emphasis on renewable energies reflects an integrative research focus, while 'Environmental Physics' stands out as the primary discipline, highlighting academia's engagement with challenges like climate change. The substantial presence of 'Solar Energy' corresponds to advances in photovoltaic technology and its global applicability. Dominant socio-constructivist approaches in pedagogy foster in-depth, reflective learning. Inclusion of ICT and PBL points to a shift towards interactive educational techniques. The study underscores interdisciplinarity's role in cultivating professionals ready to drive sustainable energy futures
