Abstract: A comprehensive analysis of the concept of nature-like technologies is presented. Various approaches to understanding the essence of this concept are studied, and their inherent similarities are analysed. Definite cases of implementation of the nature-like technologies into the various sectors of economy are provided, efficiency of these technologies is evaluated, and the main obstacles hindering their wide-spreading are identified. Particular attention is paid to the use of nature-like technologies in the agro-industrial complex and to their potential in the context of solving the environmental problems.
